Today was a non climbing day. Viv and Jess arrived after doing the traverse of La Meije - a route I have to say I'm very keen to climb. Andy's not up for it this time out, maybe next year?
Unusually I was first up. Brekky was Melon and a couple of pain au chocolat. Strangely I wasn't  thirsty (and didn't drink anything until well after lunch). The rest of the day was spent kicking back. I finished my book, it was dreadful, the plot development  was all in the wrong direction.  Kater that afternoon we went to La Fete Montagne in La Berade, lots of cheese, lots of dancing etc. Pretty entertaining, evne some archery, all totally inappropriate (shooting at endangered plastic animals). I felt a bit gooseberry as the couples did coupley things. Missed Candy a lot today.
